About Back Bay

An original live\work\play neighborhood, the Back Bay features Boston’s classic brownstone townhomes along Commonwealth and Marlborough avenues, shopping on Newbury Street, Copley Place, and Prudential Center malls, and a lively restaurant and bar scene. Together, these amenities create one of America’s premier office locations, anchored by the iconic John Hancock and Prudential towers. Back Bay station provides commuter rail access to the western suburbs, as well as the Orange Line. In addition, three Green Line stations along Boylston Street serve the area.
