About York County

York County benefits from favorable demographics, access to major interstates, and established employment nodes. The county is lined with quaint small towns and lakefront neighborhoods. However, the area has experienced plenty of growth, with numerous office and retail developments sprouting up along Interstate 77. This is where the majority of retail space is located, especially in the fast-growing towns of Rock Hill and Fort Mill.

Retail rents in York County are a relative bargain compared to areas closer to the city center and even come in below the Charlotte average, according to CoStar data.
